YOU MUST TAKE A FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT COURSE

After we file your bankruptcy, you are required to take a Financial Management Course.  The Financial Management Course is required for both Chapter 7 and Chapter 13 bankruptcies.  If you fail to take a financial management course or you take the course and don’t return the certificates for filing to our office to be filed with the Court, your case will be closed without a discharge.

If your case is closed without a discharge, you  must reopen the case and pay a filing fee for the purpose of filing the certificate of completion of the financial management course in order to clear your unsecured  debts.
